I think the Copleys must be Robert's grandparents. Robert used to live with his mother in Corton Road, Lowestoft; her parents - who helped with his upbringing - in a house on the ooposite side. Robert's mother later married a Mr. Geddes, who had a son called Angus, and the new family moved to south Lowestoft. Presuming this is the Robert Shaldars I knew, he was an old boyfriend of mine when we both attended Lowestoft Grammar School. I heard years later than he had been killed in a road accident while he was riding a motor cycle.
