The headstone in the Emborough churchyard reads; Sacred To the memory of Anne the wife of Samuel Loxton who died Nov 12 1813 aged 44 years also of the above Sammual Loxton who died Jan 25 1837 aged 67 years. Also 3 Of his children by Deborah his second wife named Sarah Aug 28th 1822 aged 15 months James died Dec 7 1833 aged 6 years Mary died May 4 1834 aged 16 years Also Sarah their daughter & wife of Thomas Barrington who died April 22 th 1854 aged 50 years.
