Ernest Halford Mills was born the 22nd of Oct., 1874, the son of Halford Lupton Mills and Mary Fenn Wagstaff. On the 24th Apr., 1900 he married Emily Jane Deiters, the daughter of the late John William Deiters and Mrs. Dinslage. Ernest Halford Mills died on the 2nd of September, 1930, shot in a hunting accident. He was the brother of Bertram Mills, well known for his circus.
