Chronicle (Adelaide SA): Thursday 12 January 1939 Mrs. E. S. Cleggett Mrs. Elizabeth Susan Cleggett, who died at Mount Barker, was the third daughter of the late William and Susan Frampton. She was born in Dorsetshire, England, in 1865, and landed with her parents in South Australia in 1881. She was married to George Cleggett in the Anglican Church Mount Barker, by the late Archdeacon Samwell, in 1887. After spending 12 years in Victoria, she returned to South Australia and resided in the Mount Barker district until her death. She was a consistent member of Christ Church, Mount Barker, for many years, and an active member of the mothers' union. Mrs. Cleggett leaves four children— Mesdames A. Paterson and M. J. McMahon, Messrs. A. F. and H. W. Cleggett, all of Mount Barker.
