Elizabeth Skeete Pinder, daughter of William Pinder and Anne Isabella nee Hothersall, was born 04 March 1778 on the island of Barbados and baptised there on 03 April 1778. Her father was Chief Justice and owned a plantation. Date of marriage to Thomas Yard is not known. Elizabeth died on 14 February 1836 in Brighton.
