of Manchester. Son of James and Louisa Stowe Brook nee Lobley, his first wife was a Helen Belshaw whom he married in Wigan in 1899 at Christ Church, Ince in Makerfield, Lancashire. Heln died in 1916 and is buried in Ince cemetery, Warrington Road, Ince, plot A505 CofE. Samuel's place of death was 32 St Hilda's Road, Old Trafford, Manchester. His date of death was 27 April 1938 and he left £7557 11s 2d in his will.
