Born in Dover 1813, to William and Mary Andrew (note his father changed name for some, as yet unknown, reason to Mynheer). Employed as a coastguard from Harwich but spent most of life in Suffolk & Norfolk, where he probably have met his wife Ann. Didn't appear to have had any children. Most of his siblings lived in and around Harwich and were coast guards or in related occupations.
