Jane Bateman died 31 August 1828 on her birthday at the home of her daughter Mrs Anne Beilby and was buried on 5 September 1828 in Holy Trinity Churchyard Stratford upon Avon. Born Jane Jordan in 1771, the daughter of William Jordan and Anne Poole of Burton upon Trent. I had spent many unsuccessful hours when visiting Stratford trying to find her grave so many thanks indeed to this website. I
