In 1890 joined his father, Kilby Pears, in the pharmaceutical manufacturing firm, now named Kilby Pears and Son, later (under Harry Pears) called Goldstone Laboratories, re-named (1917) The Standard Tablet and Pill Company, acquired in 1923 by The Dubarry Perfumery Company (Harry Pears remaining a managing director). Died 29 Sept 1950.
