He was born in Ireland & ordained in 1870, From 1894 to 1900 he was rector of St Palladius, Drumtochty N.B. Aberdeen & during 1901-02 he was the he was the curate of Bourtonon the Water, gloucestershire, He married his wife Elizabeth Anne (Pollexfen) Orr 18 Aug 1874 in St, John;s Church, Sligo, Ireland, She survived him dying aged 90 in 1933.
