Thomas Atkinson was baptised at St Andrew's, Aldborough, on March 23rd 1771. His father was James Atkinson of Roecliffe. Thomas married Elizabeth Lascelles of Norton-le-Clay on 10th October 1795.They lived in Lower Dunsforth, and both are buried at Aldborough.
