Peter Loney was born 5 Sep 1833 in Abernethy, Perthsire, Scotland, and died in 1918 in Edinburgh. His parents were: - Peter Loney (1810-1896) - Ann Conqueror (1805-1891) Peter was first born and had 8 siblings, 3 girls and 5 boys. Peter Loney grew up and was educated at Fingask Castle, near Kilspindie, in Perthshire, Scotland. His occupation was listed as a gardener or journeyman. In 1861 he resided in Putney, England, and in Sep 1863 he married Mary Ann Voisey (1833-1914). Once married, they moved to Polwarth in Berwickshire, Scotland, where they resided until after 1891. They had 5 children, 2 girls and 3 boys, born between 1865 and 1875. As of 1901 they lived in Edinburgh, where Peter is listed as retired.
