Who died at Corfu commanding H B M 10 th Regiment of infantry. He served in the 43rd or Monmouthshire light infantry. One of the regiments of the light didvsion of the Army in all the campaigns of The Peninsular War from 1808 to 1814. He was present during that eventful period in the battles and seiges of , Vimiera , Corunna , Busaco , Fuentes`D`onor , Ciudad Rodrigo , Badajos , Vittoria , Nivelle , Nive , Toulouse. And lost his right arm at the Storming of Badajos.
