Thomas William MANEN (William) was born on 7 January 1885 at Ashburton, New Zealand. He married Mathilde PABST in 1915. He served on the hospital Ship Maheno for much of WWI. He died suddenly on 19 June 1939 at Auckland. His son Keppoch MacDonald MABEN served in WWII.
