Parents were Robert Morgan and Dinah Hall. Married Eliza Jane Hiscock 7 Sep 1843 in East Stour, Dorset, England. The Morgans left England at the Downs, Deal, Kent, England on 2 Dec 1858 on the Excelsior, landing in Auckland 17 Mar 1859 as reported in the New Zealander paper of 19 Mar 1859.
