Born in Linton-on-Ouse c1784 according to 1851 census. Married John Hardcastle of Hunsingore, first child baptised in Hunsingore in 1806 but rest of children baptised in Whixley 1808-28. Eldest three sons moved away to the Wyke area south of Bradford in the mid 1830s. Listed in the 1841 census in Whixley and in 1851 in the western half of Whixley (specific addresses not given).
