Samuel Trickett was a farmer at Rope. He married Martha Birchall on 21 Oct 1841 in the district of Nantwich. His father was Thomas Trickett of Wybunbury (1793-1879). Samuel and Martha had 5 sons (Thomas, Charles, Samuel, John and Alfred) and 4 daughters (Ann, Sarah Ann and Martha) Son Charles (1845-1917) married Mary Antrobus 11 January 1875. They had 5 children: Walter/William, Alice/Annie, Edward/Edwin, Minnie and Charles. Daughter Alice married Reginald Parton in 1902. Following Reginald's death in 1912 she emigrated with her 6 children to New Zealand in 1915. Her many descendants live in New Zealand and Australia.
