WWI - Lance Corporal Frank Rogers 26388 17th Battalion Welsh Regiment. Burial Cambrai Memorial; Louverval; Nord; France; Panel 7. Son of Elizabeth and John Rogers of Bosherston. Born Bosherston. Military Medal citation London Gazette 17 September 1917 In daylight on the afternoon of 29th July 1917 L/Cpl F Rogers seeing a German soldier in no mans land and about 300 yards away from our line; left our trenches alone; stalked and captured the German who tried twice to excape. He won his military medal at Gonnelieu. He was killed in action in the attack on Bourlon Wood on 25 November 1917.
