Son of John Burrett, (b. 1810, d. after 1891)and Elizabeth (d. after 1891), both born in Wokingham. John, born in 1830 was one of 10 children. He and his parents and siblings are listed on the 1841 and 1851 Wokingham censuses. His brother Benjamin changed his name from Burrett to Barrett at or before Benjamin's marriage. I do not know if any other family members changed the spelling of their name, but the father and mother (John and Elizabeth)did not. John (b. 1830, d. 1870) was married to Louisa.
