Gravestone in Burston churchyard reads: In affectionate remembrance of Elizabeth Saunders the dearly beloved wife of Robert Saunders died July 7 1876 aged 79 years. An additional inscription on the gravestone reads: Dry up your tears and weep no more I am not lost but gone before. Elizabeth (nee Catchpole) was Born 12 Jun 1797 in Gissing, Norfork to parents Jonathan Catchpole & Mary Pretty. She was christened 19 Jun 1797 St Mary's Gissing. She married Robert Saunders 8 Oct 1816 at St Mary's Gissing.
