He was born in Micklethwaite, Yorkshire. He was a farmer and later on also become a Publican at the George & Dragon in Wetherby, Yorkshire. He died in Micklethwaite, (lived in Wetherby). My guess is he was visiting family when he died. He was buried at St. Oswald, CollinghamD 12th April 1837.
