His real name is RENZA Slater, this was spelt incorrectly ( on purpose) as they feared at the time that he was a ship jumper. This was falsely believed, as Renza was born at Crafers and therefore not an illegal immigrant. He and Amelia were in fact step brother and sister, and had to seek special permission to marry. Their families merged when the parents of Renza and Amelia joined into one household, both with Children from previous marriages. Renza's father was the ship jumper,making his way to Australia from Holland.
