Susannah Trew was born Susannah Last in Ipswich to Thomas Last and Elizabeth Last (nee Canham). She married Alfred Trew on 11 October 1848 at Trinity Church, Ipswich. Alfred's occupation was a bricklayer and later house builder, employing a number of men. They had teh following children: Alfred Cundy Trew, Susannah Trew, Mary Ann Trew, Edgar Charles Trew, Lucy Cundy Trew, Isaac Cundy Trew, Ellen Trew and Ann Trew. It is possible but can not be confirmed that Susannah Trew may have died giving birth to Ann Trew in 1865.
