29th April 1926 Full name Robert Troup Moodie Officer Obituary in Dundee Courier: A well-known Montrosian, Mr Robert Officer, Rosehill Road, died yesterday in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he under went an operation a few weeks ago. Deceased was for many years keeper of Rosehill Cemetery. He was greatly interested in evangelical work, and was connected with the Plymourh Bretheren. He was also leader of the choir at the Railway Mission meetings, while in his younger days he was precentor in St. Cyrus Parish Church. Mr Officer, who was 76 years of age, is survived by a widow and a grown-up family.
