Henry Austin was baptised at St Peter's, Colchester on 25 October 1810 to Samuel Auston and Elizabeth Alexander. He married Susan Askew on 23 August 1834 at St Clement's, Ipswich. He died 15 May 1888 at 35 Wolsey Street, Ipswich of Bronchitis and Cardiac. He was buried 19 May 1888.
