Richard was born in 1858 in Brafferton, Durham and married Marie Neville circa 1886 in Stockton. They moved to Middlesbrough living at 13 Woodlands Terrace, Borough Rd East, MBro. Richard was a Commercial Clerk and in the early 1900's loaned my grandfather the sum of £50 to start a business. My G Dad never forgot this and my Dad and I have the middle name Richard in his honour. In 1911 he had a daughter Stella born 1888 and 3 sons Neville, Norman and Roy. I would love to trace any living relatives.
