Youngest son of John Owen Edwardes of Sealyham and Treffgern Pembrokeshire South Wales and Catherina Tucker. While serving in the Peninsular War was desperately wounded at the storming of Badajos , 6th April 1812 and was afterwards Aide-de-camp to Lieut-General Sir Thomas Picton. Born Thomas Tucker Edwardes , must have at sometime chnged to mothers maiden name.
