Late of Hadfield Lodge , Derbyshire. Thomas Thornely's sister Lucy Thornely married a Thomas Taylor. This is the information from my notebook About Thornely, Thomas owned property in Cawthorne with Mary Ann, and in Thurgoland and Oxspring with H.H. Taylor believed to have 5 sons and 5 daughters (or maybe 11 Children, acc Richard King) alive in 1826 according to lease in A2A Hadfield Lodge, cotton spinner - this mill built by John Thornely senior. Died of cholera (from diary of George Booth, Chisworth) : Mr Thomas Thornley late of Hadfied died of the cholera at Barnsley and is to be buried today... it is also said that many of his family died also
