Violet was the wife of John Haig. Her maiden name was Chatters and she was born in North Woolwich in 1904, the daughter of William James Chatters and Ann Josephine Corrington. She married John Haig in Woolwich in May 1934 and they lived most of their lives in Middlesex. They did not have any children. I'm not sure when they moved to Scotland - possibly after they retired.
