Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I believe this is the actual grave of my great great grandmother
(requested on 09 01 2012)
I am the direct descendant of a William Nott who was born in Barnstaple circa 1786. He would be my great-great-great-grandfather, and married a Mary Jones, born approximately within a couple of years of him. Per Ancestry.com, she died in 1824. He emigrated to the U.S. and died here in 1863 - buried in East Bethany, New York. I am coming to England in September 2013 and plan to visit the Barnstaple area in search of family ties. Would appreciate the benefit of any information from the gravestone or in the church records on Mary Nott or her husband.
(requested on 01 07 2013)
I am a direct decedent of William and Mary Nott's son Francis E Nott. William and his children moved to Bethany, Genesee County, New York in 1832. I am looking for any information regarding this family and I hope to be able to make a trip to England soon. Thank you!
