I have recently started to look into my ancestry and according to last surviving relations Col. Tom Drimmie was quite a benifactor to my father and family on their return from Canada (cirda 1920)Your kind permission to use image (if sent )on my family tree would be much appreciated.

I am researching the history of my house in Broughty Ferry by Dundee, and a previous occupant is listed as Thomas H.K. Drimmie from 1913-1916 when archives stopped for a few years presumably due to the war (I have no details found before this date either as yet as Broughty Ferry was only adopted by Dundee in 1913). When the records resumed in 1918 a different owner is listed. The stone may provide some help with my research. Fraser
