George and Helen Tainsh are my 3rd great-grandparents. Let me thank you in advance--I am doing most of the searching for my mother's family--Ferguson. The only cousin I have had contact with is Helen Root, 87, living in Canada, who is their 2nd great granddaughter. She will be thrilled, as will I, to gain more information on our family. I will continue searching your images for family members. Kathy North, North Carolina, USA

George Tainsh and Helen Dow were my great-great grandparents. One of their sons (also George) came to Belfast and married Mary McCalla. He was a shopkeeper who died in 1900. One of his daughters,Jane Cowan Brown Spence (nee Tainsh), was my grandmother. The photograph will help me complete my family tree. Many thanks. Tom
