Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am researching the history of the Scargill family - including all the different branches of the family and their connections. I was aware of Ellen's burial in Richmond but not that a monument exists until seeing your website. I believe Ellen was baptised at Ecclesfield in Yorkshire in 1816, daughter of Charles but there was another Ellen baptised nearby in Barnsley in 1816 daughter of George and would be interested to see if the inscription can confirm her origins. Many thanks.
