Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

They are my Great-Great-Great-Great Grandparents. Their daughter, Mary, married a James Potter, a farmer, of Green Hammerton & Long Marston at the begining of the 19th century. As a result the family name became Furniss-Potter, somthing that lives on to this day, although Furniss is now a forename.
