Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

We believe this to be the grave of my great grandfather and would much appreciate a copy of this image. Although we lived in Glasgow 1960-64 where I was a teacher and my husband a postgraduate student at Glasgow University and we have made several trips "back home" we have had little information regarding my great grandfather's grave until recently when we received information from Alistair Durie, a historian concerned with hydropathy. We will be visiting Islay the third week in September and Glasgow the fourth week. Although we will primarily visit old friends in Glasgow we hope to visit the Den cemetery in Edinburgh and see if we can find grave site. Many thanks, Carolyn Macleod Long.
