Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Charles Dick is my great great grandfather. My mother's maiden name is Dick and Charles is the furthermost we have been able to trace back on that side. I am hoping we can find out who his parents were and go back further but in any case having some proof of his death, burial and existence in the form of this photo would be greatly appreciated please. My late grandfather, Alfred Charles Dick used to talk about him; he said that he owned a brewery in Scotland, and died by falling into a boiling vat there. Records say he missed his footing and fell in, but my grandfather said he was always told that Charles' brother pushed him in, in order to get the family inheritance. I love learning more about family history and would be extremely grateful if you would be able to send me a photo. Thank you for your time!

I am a family history researcher and this image relates to some research I am doing for a descendant of Charles. Various children of Charles came to New Zealand.
