Hello, I have reason to believe that George Hield is an ancestor of mine. I have been looking for information regarding him for a few years, all i have is his date of death and Scarborough which was mentioned in a letter sent to America by another George Hield of Birkin, Yorkshire who died in 1847. I received a copy of the letter from a lady in America who's husband is an ancestor. I live in North East England and would love to visit the grave if the stone is still standing, i'm hoping that there might be some info enabling me to obtain his birth cert to find his parentage.
