A very pleasant landscaped and wooded cemetery opened in 1857 and now listed Grade 2. Some of the gravestones are lost in the grass. The ones indexed here are those nearest the lanes and easiest to get to and include impressive monuments to Brighton's affluent citizens. It is adjacent to and connected with the Extra Mural Cemetery.
