Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I think this may be an elder brother of my great grandfather, John Wright, who emigrated to Canada around 1874. His brother William was born around 1856 in Alderton. John was born 22 Nov 1858, also in Alderton.

My great grandfather, John Wright, emigrated to Canada from Alderton in 1871. I have traced him back two more generations but then the trail goes cold. If this William Wright's tombstone dates from the 18th century he may be my gggg-grandfather or gggg-uncle. That is still murky. If it is mid 19th century then he may be a brother of my great grandfather or gg-grandfather. (I sometimes wish my ancestors hadn't been so good at recycling names - or at the very least chosen some more uncommon ones!)
