Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Believe that this is my great great grandmother who died shortly after my grandfather's birth. My great grandpa was overseas when she passed away. The 4 children three boys and one girl were all put up for adoption with Bernardo Homes. I can't figure out why no other family members took the kids. Also cannot understand why she was buried in her maiden name and not Richardson which was her married name. My great grandpa was William James Richardson. My grandpa who was one of the kids sent too the orphanage ended up in Saskatchewan, Canada where he was adopted by Bernhard and Sarah Shortland. I'am trying too get lost information and this has proven extremely difficult as my great grandpa Richardson was originally a Whyles, his mother a war widow from the Boer War came over from Ireland and eventually ended up marrying the widower Joseph Richardson who adopted him. So as you can see it's an uphill battle trying too research my family tree. If this is her gravestone her first name was Albertina. Thank you very much.
