Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

This gravestone includes Helen Hume Crocket, wife of John Craigdillie. Helen Hume Crocket descended from Helen Hume & Thomas Gowans Crocket, who are also my wife's ancestors. I was told that Helen died in 1949, so am interested whether the photograph shows the date as 1949 or as 1940 in the transcription provided.

John Collins Henderson Craigdallie was my paternal grandmother's brother. I am trying to gather as much information as I can about the Craigdallie family. It would be extremely interesting to see a picture of the gravestone. I myself left Edinburgh in 1963 and did not realise one of my ancestors was buried in this churchyard. Thank you so much in anticipation. By the way, I have to use my son's e-mail address because I do not have one myself! Next time I am in Edinburgh I will be going to visit the grave.

John collins henderson craigdallie was my fathers great uncle. My fathers paternal grandmother annie craigdallie was johns sister. Myself, my grandpa and my father all have craigdallie as our middle names. I would like the picture of the gravestone for my father, also i am researching the link between craigdallie and macgregor decendants. Thank you very much.
