Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Dr Thomas Watkins Wilson's wife Annette Andrews was the sister of my grandmother's grandmother, Albina Grace Andrews (my great great grandmother) and I am writing our family history, particularly from the perspective of the wives and mothers who do not figure prominenelt in the usual records.

Thomas Watkins Wilson is my G.G Grandfather. Archibald Stewart is a mystery. According to records the birth and death dates are absolutely correct, but Thomas would only have been 11 when Archibald born. I have always taken it that something was incorrect and that Archibald was most probably the 'love child' of Thomas's father James - but this grave..........well!

I'm not related to doctor Thomas Watkins Wilson. But a far family member of my, named Bessie Liebrechts, was born in Calcutta (India) june 19 1859. It was Thomas Watkins Wilson who helped whith the delivery of the the baby Bessie. So it would be a nice supplement for my family history. Kind regards. Tom Pelgrims. Belgium

I would like to use it as a supplement to my photo of his magnificent monument in Ulverston Cemetery, Cumbria. There are lots of commercial postcards of this monument, and I understand it is mentioned in Stan Laurel's autobiography. He was brought up in Ulverston and had memories of it.
