Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

To Whom It May Concern, I have four great-great uncles: Dugald MacGregor, Alexander MacGregor, Donald MacGregor, and Hugh MacGregor, whom all served in WWI with the 51st Highland Division in the Battle of Somme. They are from the Isle of Lismore and the Oban area. I have in my possession an original WWI letter of commendation for Sgt. Hugh MacGregor with the original envelope that was mailed to their sister, my great-grandmother: Mary MacGregor. I also have photographs of each of my great-great uncles. The photographs of each of my great-great uncles, with a copy of the commendation letter, are framed and hung on the wall in my living room at my home in the United States. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Troy Simon tsimon@orovalleyaz.gov (520) 468-9213 17063 Painted Vistas Way Corona de Tucson, Arizona, 85641 U.S.A.
