Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am writing a small article on the meaning of the dead of Alexander Martin and his comrades in relation to the choice that Scottisch people made for remaining in the European Union. I was in 1944 living about i mile away from the place where the Lancaster came down. Are there still cousins of Alexander Martin, interested in more details? Thank you, Paul Bauduin (now living in Italy)
