Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Perdy? Is Percy, he was my great grandfather, my father was named after him with names inverted, ie James Percy Jones. I am building a substantial family tree and would be pleased to contribute. The Jones’ from what I can see, raised a line of Ships Carpenters, several of the sons migrated to Australia in the beginning of the 1900’s and I’m suspecting it was associated with the lack of work following the storm distruction of the harbour. I visited Watchet in 2016. Great town. Regards Graham Jones, Sydney Australia
