Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am Pastor Rowland Wheatley, the present and 10th pastor of the Strict and Particular Baptist Chapel on St David's Bridge Cranbrook. Isaac Beeman was Baptised into church membership with us on 1st April 1782, by believers Baptism. The Church was formed in 1780 in Shepherds in High street. So Beeman was one of the first members. We have the original church book recording this and also an original painting of him. He left St David's Bridge to form Providence Chapel in 1803, when William Huntingdon built the chapel for him over Beemans warehouse. So he would have worshipped at the present chapel on St David's Bridge, as that was first used in 1787.
