Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Hugh Erskine is my great great uncle. The three children on this gravestone died young. He then had another three children - Hugh, Robert and William. The grandson, Hugh Bruce, also died in infancy and was the son of Hugh Erskine and Mary Hutchison. Fascinating to see this family come alive (perhaps not the correct word!) from the information on this gravestone. Many thanks for all the effort you put into this.
