1901811820wife of Peter GlendinningRobina Brown was the daughter of Archbald Brown and Elizabeth Balram and was born in Carnbee, Fife in 1821. She married Peter Glendinning in Cupar, Fife on 31st Jan 1844. At that time Peter was factor to Alexander Baillie Esquire in the Parish of Wandell & Lamington. It was later that he became Factor to the Earl of Rosebery. Robina was 80, not 81 wen she died on 11th Nov 1901. The transcription wrongly shows she died in 1904. It was definitely 1901

Researching Balram family of Carnbee, Fife (my wife's family). An unusual name, there is reference to them being 'German'. Lots of questions, but it would be nice to tidy-up at least one loose end! Many thanks, you do a fantastic service, I do appreciate it. Strangely enough we visited your church last summer to see the Norman work - fantastic. Tim
