Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am delighted to find this image. David Chapman and Bethia Brown Finlayson were my 2x gt grandparents! Their son, David, (15/03/1856 - 20/04/1919) was my gt g/f and sometime NBR Stationmaster at Singer (Kilbowie) Clydebank; Bathgate and Hamilton. His daughter, Bethia Fraser Souter (m/s Chapman, 11/03/1888 - 24/02/1973) was my 'Gran Souter'. She was born in the Station House at Kilbowie and died in Greenock when I was 19 years old. By the way, I doubt that the last name on the monument (George Chapman, died 1917) was the husband of William Chapman! A great resource, I will email you my acknowledgement and thanks on receipt of the high quality image. Doubtless, I will also be searching for images of my other West Lothian ancestors on your excellent website - I am also a 'Black of Breich Water' on my father's side - enough said! (I have visited the graveyards in Whitburn and Livingston and found several of their monuments). Best wishes, Alasdair Liddell PS, were I still resident in Scotland, I would like to help your project, but I am a long-term resident of Gloucestershire these days, and seldom make it back to Scotland.
(requested on 21 09 2013)
I believe this is my great grandmother but some of the information on the typed list does not compare to what we thought we knew so I want to check the gravestone itself.
