I have researched my family and found Sarah Lupton (nee Winterburn) to be in my family. It means a great deal to me that you have placed this information on the internet and provided access to me half a world away (in High Prairie, Alberta, western Canada). Seeing the census data, birth and death certificates along with these monument inscriptions provides not only statistics but all together brings out whole stories of the peoples lives and brings meaning to our living generations. It is very exciting to me to be able to reach out and touch a part of living history, and am grateful that you as volunteers have taken your time to bring this to the world. Thank you. Also, we have a 200 year old spoon handed down in our family with the monogram I L on it that I have traced to Isabella Lupton, born April 16, 1769, died Sept 30, 1783 at Whixley. We know nothing else at all about her and feel if her life meant so much to the family to create this spoon after her death, we would like to know more about her. I will be researching to order her death notice, and would love to hear from you if you know of any monument pertaining to her. Thank you. Kim Hubar hub@cciwireless.ca

I am putting together the final details of my family tree, and would really enjoy having this record of real history to add to my family data. Thank you for giving our family this connection to our history, as we are far away in Canada.
